Nandini Rajawat

Nandini is a wheatish-skinned girl with decent physique for her age. She has large, expressive eyes, a broad forehead, and hair always in two bouncy plaits that swing when she runs. At her Nani's house, she's the undisputed queen. With all her cousins in college, she's the only child and thoroughly pampered for it. Dominant, bubbly, and full of chatter, she orders her Nani's house like a tiny ruler. She's the storyteller, the drama queen, the girl who laughs too loud and demands extra snacks because "she don't ask, she declares". She collects broken bangles and calls them "crown diamonds," talks to birds on the balcony, and believes the world bends for her, because at Nani's, it does. The weight hasn't found her yet.
